My name is Karishma Nezhad, and I'm an at-home baker based in Columbus, Ohio. For as long as I can remember, I've had a deep love for baking — filling kitchens with warm aromas and watching people light up at the first bite.
What started as baking for family and friends slowly turned into something bigger. Word spread about my passion, and one request led to another — until I realized this wasn't just a hobby anymore. It was a calling.
Today, I create freshly baked goods made entirely to order, designed to be the centerpiece of your celebration. Whether it's an intimate gathering or a grand event, every treat is crafted with the same care and intention I've always put into my baking.

Ordering
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier the better. For weddings, about 6 months ahead. For private parties, 2 to 3 weeks.
How large an order can you take?
Up to 300 desserts for private parties and up to 500 for weddings, depending on the event.
How is pricing worked out?
Desserts are priced by the dozen. Once you share your date, guest count and ideas, Karishma confirms your final price.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date, due at least one month before your event. Booking a year or more ahead? A 10% deposit holds the date, with the rest due a month before.
How do I pay?
By Cash, Venmo, or Apple Pay.
How quickly will I hear back?
Karishma replies within 24 hours.

How many desserts should I order per guest?
Karishma suggests two per guest. Once your guests try one, they almost always come back for a second, and two means everyone gets to enjoy their favorite flavor!
Do you deliver?
Yes, to locations within about 2 to 3 hours of Columbus. The fee depends on distance and the event. Pickup is free.
Do you set up a dessert table at the venue?
Yes, for a separate setup fee based on your event.
Can you cater an event that runs over several days?
Yes, up to 14 consecutive days, which suits multi-day weddings. Choose "This event runs across multiple days" when you book.
Can I request a custom flavor or theme?
Absolutely. Custom flavors and themes are welcome, depending on quantity and complexity. Additional charges may apply.
Do you offer tastings?
Yes, for an additional fee. It's a great way to choose flavors for your event.
Dietary Needs
Are your desserts safe for nut allergies?
Some desserts contain nuts or nut garnishes, and these are labeled at events. Because Karishma's kitchen handles nuts, no dessert can be guaranteed free from cross-contact. Guests with severe nut allergies should keep this in mind.
Are your desserts eggless?
Yes. Every dessert on the menu is eggless and contains no gelatin.
Do any desserts contain alcohol?
No. Everything on the menu is alcohol-free.
Do you offer gluten-free desserts?
Not at the moment, and desserts cannot be guaranteed free from gluten cross-contact.
After You Order
How should I store the desserts?
Keep them refrigerated until serving, and enjoy within 2 to 3 days.
Any tips for transporting them?
Use a cooler with ice packs, especially in warm weather, and never leave them in a hot car.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Once your deposit is paid, changes and cancellations, including menu selections, generally aren't possible, and deposits are non-refundable. Unexpected circumstances are reviewed individually, and a partial refund may be considered.
